# Add Group

To create a new group in Medulla, follow these simple steps

### Go to the creation page

In the left side menu, click on**Adding** to open the group creation page.

#### Form of creation

Once on the dedicated page, you will find a form to complete to define the group properties.

##### Fields to be completed

- **Name of group** :

<p class="callout warning">  
The name must start with a letter, and contain only tiny characters or numbers. This ensures consistency throughout the system.</p>

- **Description** :  
    You can specify here the intended use of the group, e.g. "Support Team Group" or "Training Room Officers".

##### Finalizing the creation

Once all fields are filled, click on **Create**.  
The group will then be recorded and added automatically to the **List of Groups** on the main page.
